Connecting People, Growing Together

There are a lot of people in our life. They come and go, stay or leave. Some are still with us, connecting each other tightly. Have you ever thought of such connection: What is the essence of connection? And how can we connect each other? Next, I will share you my own thinkings about these two questions.

Firstly, when we are connected, we may have a chance to become good friends. Friend means a person you know well or you want to be with. We are growing up with our friends. On the way to grown up, we can help each other, bestowing each other with encouragement and mutual understanding I play an important role in your life and you make some big influence in my life. We will never forget each other even though we are not together. I think, this is the best definition of connection. If you are my friend, you are not along. Because you are connected with me all the time.

Secondly, there are two ways to connect with other people. The ways are different but the achievements are similar---no matter which way we choose, finally we may become friends and improve ourselves together. Talking of the first way of connection is a usual one. ---people are connected in the visible way-meeting. Now I am presenting a speech to you and you are hearing my speech, thus we can say that today, at this moment, we are connected in some way. Recently, I have had a connection with some Korean friends and I want to share my unforgettable experience with you. Since we met, we are connected tightly. They showed keen excitement in learning Chinese Kung-Fu with us. Besides, it was amazing that we communicated with each other in English easily and we learnt a lot from each other. Of course we are still in contact by e-mail and we are growing together.

The invisible way of connecting people is special but even more meaningful. It is said that reading a book means communicating with the author. I enjoy reading books and while reading《Oliver Twist》,I can feel the closeness between us as if I can feel his heart beat. I am talking with Charles Dickens as I’m thinking his words, though he has been dead for many years. The feeling of connecting with him and the resonation make me deeply moved. What I have got is much more than knowledge.

Love your neighbor as yourself. Both of the two ways can make us achieve the same goal: growing up. What’s more, we can understand the real essence of connecting.
