3月25日上午7时30分，我校第十届外语节开幕式在学校操场隆重举行。初二（2）班张泠然和高一（1）班梁子龙两位同学主持开幕式并做活动倡议发言，林卫民校长致开幕辞。英语、德语、西语三位外教用各自语种的语言寄语外语节，相应语种的学生代表作了翻译。本届外语节的主题是“沟通无国界”，旨在通过为期一周的外语节各项活动营造浓郁的外语语言学习氛围，通过开展外文歌曲大赛、演讲比赛、配音比赛、戏剧大赛和国际嘉年华游园活动等形式多样、内容丰富的活动激发学生外语学习的兴趣，培养学生的外语实际运用能力，提高学生的综合素质和竞争能力。

林校长为开幕式的成功召开发表了热情洋溢的全英文讲话。他指出外语节是同学们展示个人风采、提高英语技能、置身浓郁的国际文化氛围、感受外语魅力的良好机会，希望同学们积极投入到本次外语节的活动中。最后，林校长预祝本次外语节取得圆满成功，同时期待同学们在接下来的一系列外语节比赛中能有精彩的表现。讲话结束后，林校长又为本届外语节揭牌“徽标”。

接着，上届“外语之星”获得者、初二（2）班张泠然同学作了外语节活动倡议演讲。她说：The Foreign Languages Festival gives me the motivation to learn. I sincerely call on all of us to join our foreign languages festival and I hope you can learn more from the activities.

三位外教分别用各自的语言寄语外语节。英语外教希望大家能够抓住这次难得的机会，努力成为合格的世界公民。（I hope all of you will grab hold of this wonderful opportunity to be come global citizens.）她还说道：Every one of you can be a brilliant shining light, so shine brightly with your lives!（我相信你们每个人都能成为一颗璀璨的明星，所以请在这个舞台上绽放出你生命的光彩！）德语外教说：es ist schön, hier zu sein.Ich wünsche allen viel Spaß und hoffe, dass sich noch mehr Schüler für Deutschland, seine Sprache und Kultur begeistern werden.（我很高兴参与外语节的开幕。希望更多的同学能对德国的语言以及文化感兴趣。）西语外教说：Estoy muy contento de que me hayais invitado a esta fiesta de las lenguas extranjeras. Espero que todos lo paseis muy bien hoy y aprendais muchas cosas.（我非常高兴能够被邀请来为附校的外语节开幕式做致辞。希望大家在此次外语节能够发挥良好并且可以学到很多东西。）

外语节是我校复语复合办学特色的生动体现，是走培养国际化预备英才的强校之路的必要途径。相信在全体师生共同的努力下，复语特色的附校梦一定能实现！

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good morning.

女士们，先生们，大家早上好！

With the coming of spring, the earth wakes up. In this beautiful season, it’s my great honor to declare the opening of the 10th annual Foreign Languages Festival of The Foreign Languages School affiliated to Beijing Foreign Studies University.

春回大地，万物复苏。在这美丽时节，我非常高兴地宣布北外附校第10届外语节隆重开幕！

Our school is determined to create a multicultural campus atmosphere that will benefit all students. We are committed to cultivating students who will become international talents competent in various foreign languages.

北外附校始终致力于培养外语特长、文理兼优、综合素质全面的国际化预备英才，努力营造国际化、多元化的校园文化氛围，让附校学子从中获益。

Thanks to the hard work of the teachers and students, we have been able to celebrate an international cultures festival for the past 9 years. The theme of this year’s festival is “Communication beyond Border.” It is a great opportunity for you all to be immersed in foreign cultures, to put your knowledge into action and to show us how wonderful and intelligent you are!

感谢附校师生的共同努力，在过去的九年中我们能够享有一年一度的外语文化盛宴。今年外语节的主题是“沟通无国界 ”。这又将是一个使附校学子置身于浓厚的国际文化氛围的良好契机，是一个让你们可以学以致用，向大家展示你们的卓越才华的良好契机。

Boys and girls, the festival is created by the students for the students. My wish is that the festival fills you with joy, hope and pride. I was already deeply impressed by the emblem and board designs that are on display. I am confident that the upcoming competitions and performances will be just as excellent.

同学们，外语节为你们而存在，因你们而精彩。我衷心地祝愿外语节将为你们带来欢乐、希望和荣耀。你们的徽标和展板设计让我印象深刻，我非常期待你们即将带来的各类才艺表演和比赛！

This year’s festival will last for one week. It will be a week full of songs, performances and speeches that will surely make this year’s Foreign Languages Festival even more exciting.

今年的外语节将持续一周。即将到来的外文歌曲大赛、演讲比赛、配音比赛、戏剧大赛和令人期待的国际嘉年华游园活动一定会让今年的外语节更加精彩！
