10月19日，我校成功举办了第二届模拟联合国大会（BBMUN）。正装出席会议的40多名高中学生以英美中俄伊叙等30多个国家代表的身份，端坐在209和211两个会议室，分别讨论传染病以及加沙地带冲突问题的解决方案。

本届模拟联合国大型校内会活动，整个准备过程历时一个多月，可以说代表们是有备而来，会务组是有备而待。王艾霞老师指导董莫炎等同学做了大量的前期准备工作，如发邀请函、收集代表信息、发布背景文件、与校团委书记刘志欣老师协调等等；模拟世界卫生组织（WHO）主席胡新月同学、主席助理张泠然同学以及模拟联合国安全理事会（UNSC）主席何天宇同学、主席助理郭桢同学在会前精心设计会议流程，并根据代表们上交的立场文件预测了会议进程中可能会出现的“碰撞”，为此设计了推动会议进程的一系列小方案。模联社团的豆思云、张樱格和张泠然同学协助老师购买奖品以及会议必需品。这次会议在各位师生共同努力下得以顺利进行，也为同学们提供了一次锻炼组织能力、协调能力和表达能力的机会。

会议期间代表们表现出色，WHO会场中大家用英文积极发言，表达着自己对这些国际问题的看法，并在短时间内有效地解决了三个埃博拉病毒危机，最后会议通过由英国和美国起草的决议草案；UNSC会场中，代表们讨论得热火朝天，气氛十分活跃。WHO会场的豆思云同学和UNSC会场的鲁冠庭同学凭借他们出色的表达和丰富的知识获得本次的最佳代表奖项。

本次会议历时七个小时，与会代表不仅锻炼了英文表达能力，更深入地了解了国际热点问题，提高了国际理解力。这次会议还有初中同学前来观摩，相信他们也有很大的收获。

Our school successfully held our second Model United Nations conference on October 19th, started at 8：30 in the morning and lasted for 7 hours. It was divided into two different committees, WHO and UNSC.

From the preparation of the BBMUN, we understood the difficulty to organize a great activity and realize the importance of cooperation. We need to think about the time, the place, the food and all the things related to the conference. Thanks to our efforts, we held a brilliant MUN. I believe all the delegates enjoyed themselves in this hall. Since it was the first time for many students, they became more familiar with global issues and also developed their thinking ability. All the delegates tried their best to express themselves and therefore practiced their English. Moreover, students were able to make friends from different grades, enlarging their friend circle.

After BFLS’s first conference, I believe our MUN’s better future is on the horizon. I sincerely invite more friends to join us and experience the world of the Model United Nations together.
