Connecting People, Growing Together

Nowadays,in the 21st century，No technology has ever developed so fast as that in thecommunication technology. As our society is changing intoglobalization, Internet has become the most important chain to connect the world together, and it has been used widely. As a result, social websites such as Face book and Twitter have become more and more popular as a way for people to share their feelings. People use e-mails to greet others instead of meeting face to face.

While the moderntechnologies make our life fast and convenient, they have changed the way we used to connect others. The special relation between us and our friends and family is becoming rusty as we no longer talk to them face to face and tell them exactly what we feel. It seems that the advanced technology has made the distance among people get farther and farther away. We close our hearts to the people who love us but put it onvirtual world. This must not be caused by the development of society. We have to know that we always need to be connected in our true life, rather than virtual life. And there are always some people who really love us and care for us.

I am going to sixteen, and will soon become an adult. Look back to yesterday, there are some people who give me deep impression by the love they show to me. I still remember that afternoon, I was having classes, but suddenly I felt cold and I started to feel faint. I felt sick and weak. I really needed somebody’s help so I whispered my friend’s name “Ann” to let her pay attention to me. She sat next to me, and she heard my whisper and noticed that I was ill. So she told the teacher about this and took me to the school clinic. The doctor took my temperature and told me that I had a high fever, and I needed to take some medicine and had a rest. So Ann called my parents and they soon came to school and took me home.

During those days I rested at home, Ann came to see me every day and helped me with my homework. She encouraged me to fight with the sickness and told jokes to make me happy. I am so thankful for her help and I was really moved by the love and care she had shown me which I can’t touch in face book or twitter. I feel lucky to have such a good friend in real life.

Everyone needs friendship. No one can sail the ocean of life single handed. With our friends, we will know what to treasure, what to tolerate and what to share. In modern times, especially when the colorfulcommunications technology takes a large part in our life, we need to attach more importance to real life surrounding us---relations, connections, and face- to- face communications. We need love from, others and also show love to others. Ladies and gentlemen, with the step into real life , please cherish each person existed in your own life, Have face-to face communication with them and share love with each other. I believe this kind of connection will strengthen people’s relationships and let the true love stay in the world for the whole time! Let’s connect people, grow together!
