My growth in China

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Have you ever heard of this quote? This quote is from a great woman called Helen Adams Keller. She was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf blind person to earn a Bachelor degree of arts.of Arts degree. Bravo! How could this poor disabled woman overcome all the difficulties and reach success! It’s so amazing!

Back to her childhood, Keller had an illness when she was a baby. The illness didn’t last for a particularly long time, but it left her deaf and blind. She was depressed and can’t express her own feelings before she met the school director --- Anne Sullivan. Anne Sullivan taught her patiently with her warm heart. It was with her love and patience that Helen went to Harvard University and also became a warm-hearted person who gave disabled people courage and hope. So from Keller’s story, what could we learn?

If Helen Keller didn’t meet Anne Sullivan in her childhood, do you think she would have the same success? I’m afraid not. It was Anne Sullivan who gave Helen courage! It was Anne Sullivan who helped Helen to communicate with others! It was Anne Sullivan who supported Helen to be success!

While we are growing up, we meet many kinds of people. We also share our happiness, sadness, excitement, and disappointment with them. Those people help us to grow in a right way. Take me for an example: I came to China studying aboard alone when I was 13 years old. I was very lonely at that time and I had to suffer from many difficulties by myself. I was so exhausted and I even wanted to give up sometimes. But each time when I made up my mind to give up, the Chinese teachers, family and friends helped me to hold out. They really helped me a lot. But they never know how important they meant to me. Just like Helen , if there wasn’t Ann, she would never know where tomorrow is. Looking at Helen, look at myself, we have something in common .As for me, if there weren’t my Chinese teachers, family and friends, I wouldn’t overcome all the difficulties I had yesterday. I thank them a lot. I value every person I met above everything else. The time I spend with them is really precious to me.

On the road to grow up. We meet many different kinds of people. They give us courage, energy, confidence and more importantly hope. But maybe sometimes the people who lay great importance to us don't realize how they exist in our hearts and how thankful we are. Connected with them tightly, we walk toward our future firmly, and I believe we all can create our own bright future with them!
