【喜报】我校初二年级学生荣获2018国际青少年创新设计大赛&第四届创客大赛国际展评金奖

美国当地时间7月13日,2018国际青少年创新设计大赛&第四届创客大赛国际展评在哈佛大学成功举行。在初中创客工作坊许祥副校长的领导下,由崔淑珍老师指导,初二年级学生许敖溥,智小泉,陶然,孙慧萌四位同学撰写并答辩的科学小论文《新能源之燃料电池—实验室模拟不同种类电解液的氢氧燃料电池》获得此次展评的金奖。
此次参赛项目主题的确定从3月份开始研讨,历经4个多月时间的打磨,学生经历了网络初赛的海选,全国总决赛,最终走上了国际展评,我们的学生凭借绝对优势的外语答辩获得了评委老师们的青睐。此外为了更好的传播中国传统文化,学生们还制作了关于青花瓷的海报,讲好中国故事,弘扬中国精神。
为了更好的展示本次论文成果,我们在5月份全国决赛论文的基础之上,增加了电极材料选择的实验和相同浓度电解液条件下控制不同电解电压的实验,实验数据严谨可靠,深刻体现了控制变量的思想。同时,为了方便专家更直观的了解实验内容,学生们录制了视频进行现场展示,效果更加直观,专家频频点头称赞。
海报首页是使用不同国家语言写出的“资源”,除了展示我们研究课题是新型清洁能源—氢氧燃料电池以外,更多的体现了我们北外附校是一个培养复语复合型人才的摇篮。
梓源小组的每位同学都有明确的分工,智小泉主要负责现场展示,许敖溥主要负责答辩,陶然主要负责视频制作,孙慧萌主要负责海报制作和宣讲,每位同学用流利的外语展示着北外附校学生的自信和从容。

It was an awesome day, I don't know how to describe it, just so happy and excited! We got on the bus at 6:50, after a 90 minutes drive we arrived at one of the prestigious university-Harvard University, which is the best university in the whole world. Therefore I was so proud that I can visit there and even have the competition in its lecture hall. Our project is about the hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells in the MG. First of all, it was an hour for the making process of carbon free cars, then was the showing and racing. We were the penult in the whole race, but we noticed that there wasn't any reply, and we had to introduce our poster-Green Flower Porcelain just before the competition. I was responsible for this part, so I present the poster was the best choice. But there were only 5 more minutes for me to prepare, it was a difficult and challenge task for me, I only had the time to write several keywords on the phone, then we went on the stage and started our thesis presentation. Xiaoquan Zhi was well-prepared and hard-working, his presentation was so fluency and coherent. With the short videos, our experimental presentation finished with a round of applause .Then was my part, I had no way but improvisational speaking started my speech, I was so nervous at that time. But when we finished, my teacher told me that our presentation was excellent and amazing! I was very happy when I heard that because it was the first time that I didn't prepare my speech drafts, it proved that my English skills were not too bad. After all the groups finished their shows, three professors gave us a series of wonderful speeches, I learned a lot about innovation and creativity! Finally, the most exciting part came-Award Ceremony. Fortunately, we won the gold award in both IC and MG! We had the lunch in the cafeteria in Havard University, we looked around the faculty of law in the university and had dinner in a buffet. And this was the end of today's schedule.

今天是本次美国之旅相当重要的一天,在这之前,我们为此付出了许多,在比赛的前一天我们更是拼尽了全力去准备,只为了在今天不留下遗憾。早上,我们通过在各个社交网络发表文章来使我们激动而有一丝紧张的心情平静下来,稳重地面对比赛。随着比赛的开始,我们开始观摩别的学校的创新展示。我们从他人的展示中,收获了知识,拓宽了视野。在与他们的交流中,我们理解了友谊,了解了文化。这也许就是知识的交融吧。Cuándo hemos estado presentando el proyecto, yo estaba un poco nervioso.Pero, he probado a ser confidente. Mis compañeros del grupo también tienen confidente.Finalmente, la confidencia me ha ayudado a ganar. He aprendido mucho,y la experiencia me ha enseñado a ser una persona mejor.这是有意义的一天,激动,刺激,快乐,充实的一天。

今天有这次美国之行最重要的活动-国际展评赛。我们的展评活动是在古老建筑Austin Hall中举行。礼堂很大,很古老,这木棕色的礼堂给人柔和的感觉。9点抵达礼堂,在礼堂中准备了快3个小时。智小泉将稿子又背了几遍,我们走了走场,便在座位上聊天。我给老梁发了视频聊天,他很喜欢哈佛这块地。我们的展评临时安排没有评委问答环节。我昨天晚上为了将答辩尽量做到完美,与老师和队友奋战(想可能问的问题,答出来)至11点,但答辩就被偷偷剪掉了。有些不甘心,但也值了!笔记本上慢慢写了快10页,可以整合成一个补充论文了,收获了不少。比赛很成功,其实结果不重要了,但,过程,是永恒的。下午逛了逛哈佛大学,感受了哈佛的气氛。我可以来一段描写:一片草地,茂密的树木,光影在草地上跳跃,如同哈佛人,充满趣味。图书馆的台阶上,扭曲的建筑,我仿佛看到了盖里,柱与门,完美却不和谐地站在一起,一群忙碌(盲目)的人...... 今天虽然累,但心里是快乐的,想笑又露不出门牙(尤其实在拍照的时候)。

我今天参加了2018年IC和MG比赛。比赛先从无碳小车开始,在等待了一个小时后,别的组的无碳小车制作完毕,纷纷开始了测量。而我们则开始准备我们的比赛内容。从昨天晚上大家都开始为比赛做着最后的准备,我们都艰苦奋战到12点才睡觉。今天早上差点没有起来,因为只睡了5个小时。在比完赛后我们就开始游览哈佛大学,整体的建筑我认为很漂亮,并且有相当一部分是很古老的。其中图书馆的故事让我印象深刻。
答辩稿:Thesis PresentationHello everyone. My name is Zhi Xiaoquan from Beijing Foreign Language School. Today we are going to introduce a kind of new energy - fuel cell, experimental simulation of hydrogen oxygen fuel cells by changing various types of electrolytes. This is our team members. I am... First, let's watch a short video about the research background and its significance. Next, we have selected the electrode materials. We immerse the different kinds of electrode, for example porous carbon rods, a piece of copper and paper clips in alkaline electrolyte. And we find out that when the electrode is made of porous carbon rods, the electrolytic cell can produce hydrogen and oxygen in the same time. So, we select porous carbon rods as the electrode. Now, I am going to introduce the experimental principles, which include the principle of the device and the reaction principle. By using hydrogen as the fuel and oxygen as the oxidizing agent, we can produce chemical energy and convert it to electronic energy. We simulated the electrolytic cell and the hydrogen- oxygen fuel cell. The response equations are shown on the screen. Then, these are our project design and experimental data. We test the output current of different cThen, these are our project design and experimental data. We test the output current of different concentration of sodium hydroxide in the device. And we've got a conclusion - when the concentration is 2.5 mol or 3 mol per liter, the output current is the highest. But we consider that the concentration is nearly saturated. So, we choose 2 Mol per liter as the standard in the next experiment. To distilled water for blank control, we test the output current of different solutions, including the solutions of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. In the end, we come to a conclusion - when the electrolyde concentration is 2 mol per liter, the output current of sodium hydroxide solution is greater and the generating efficiency is higher. The experimental innovation is that we use the solar panels to replace the traditional dry cell in order to generate electricity in a completely pollution-free.
