虽然疫情阻挡了我们返校的脚步，但阻挡不了师生教与学的步伐。在教育部“停课不停教，停课不停学”的方针指导下，我校初中校区各年级中外英语教师们认真研讨、攻坚克难、精心准备线上课程，通过情景和语境设计课堂，并借助各种丰富的学习资源，让同学们“宅”在家里学出主动，学出兴趣。
初一、初二的老师们结合时事，与学生们共同分享在这个特殊时期发生的感人故事，引发思考，为武汉加油，为中国加油！
除了笔记、英语作文和思维导图，初一（1）班的雍芮涵Alice，还用歌唱的形式来给祖国加油鼓劲！
初三高端英语班同学们用录屏的形式讲解疫情下的感人故事，激励自己，激励大家！
“授人以鱼不如授人以渔”，老师在空中课堂里引导学生用不同的英语微技能学习英文和并进行学法指导。
同学们认真学习的态度一点不逊色在学校里的表现。
外教老师们虽因为航班取消远在美国、英国和新西兰，但他们也隔空给同学们发来了学习指导和祝福！
同学们面对“停课不停学的空中英语课堂”，也纷纷用视频和文字的形式表达用英文表达了自己感想、喜爱和对老师们的感恩之情。相信在师生们的共同努力下会有不一样的收获！

When I heard we were going to have a English class online, I felt this would be a challenge to me. There are too many temptations online and it is easy to distract me, so I went to my first English net class with butterflies in my stomach. Surprisingly, I discovered that the English net class is more interesting than I imagined,. And Ms. Cora did a really good preparation for her class, so that we won’t distracted by the news online. During our first class, Ms. Cora taught us some useful knowledge on the epidemic which is happening right now—novel coronavirus. Through that class, I not only learned a lot of useful vocabulary about the virus, but also looked at this epidemic from an international perspective. In the courses of last week, what impressed me the most was the class which Ms. Cora let us make a vow to study hard at home. This behavior not only shows the trust from our teacher, but also give me a lot of strength to study more harder.
In general, I would like to show my respect and gratitude to the teachers who are stick to their spot in this special period. I believe this will be the biggest encouragement for the students, and I’m really appreciate about that.

Gaining knowledge by taking English class online is great I think. Although we have to learn on the computer, it is just like the teacher is in front of us. Besides, classmates were very active in class and all desired to join a conversation with teacher. The notes taken by the classmates were also excellent. Some of my friends even did a better job than they did in school. Everyday we have to have a dictation of 100 words which are from IELTS listening vocabulary book. In a word, I feel that efficiency of taking English class online is never lower than learning at school, practically , it is more convenient in some particular aspects.

Honestly, at first, I don’t have high expectations for online courses, but the fact is completely beyond my imagination. The superiorities of online courses break the traditional limits of space and time, it builds up a platform which can let students and teachers learn together in the different space, realizing the fun of learning through interaction with each other online. Undeniable, I enjoy the learning atmosphere sitting in the classroom with other classmates. However, through these online courses, I have a better understanding on the learning opportunities that technology and the Internet can bring to us nowadays.
