“读万卷书，行万里路”，为期两周的加拿大修学之旅，让孩子们获益匪浅。此次研学活动，孩子们多层面、多维度的了解了加拿大文化，拓展了国际视野，丰富了学习经历和生活体验。现将修学心得分享如下。

游学心得

I have expected this educational trip to Canada for a long time. The preparation before this trip attracted my attention a lot. Now I think it's indeed an interesting and valuable journey. We went to many famous universities and the CN tower, the landmark of Canada, it used to be the tallest building in the world for many years. Not only did we experience local classes such as Geography and History, but also came scenic spots normal tourist groups usually go to. The most impressive part for me is local lessons. They are really different from China. In China, students often listen and take notes more rather than speak what they think or have activities about what they learned. It's always boring and students gradually don't think any more. But in Canada, students talk and think more. This method is more interesting and effective, students can learn more with their own opinions instead of all of what teachers said. Additionally, the classes in Canada are more active and informal, students feel relaxed and comfortable. It appears that most of students like this way better. Speaking of the attitude, the most important part of study, students there spend a lot of time studying by themselves. No one forces them or reminds them, just depending on themselves. It surprised me that how hard-working they are. Canadian students have many good qualities that are worth learning by us.

无数栋建筑随着巴士在眼前流动，高的矮的、现代的古典的，最终逐渐消失，但我却努力记住每一栋房屋，在心中留下无数声惊叹和疑问——天哪！细细地看，加拿大的建筑怎么会这么别致？人文、艺术、自然结合得这样完美，金碧辉煌的高楼大厦和古色古香的亭台楼阁又是怎样达到不相互冲突的呢？

当我数次与加拿大人相处，看到每一处小小的细节和参观卡萨罗马古堡时，心中的答案便渐渐浮出水面。

应验了一方水土养一方人这句老话，加拿大的阳光、山水、空气形成了加拿大人活泼、可爱、温文尔雅的性格，同时也培养了加拿大人对美的感知，既有英国的纯粹，又不乏法国人的浪漫情怀。一代又一代的文化传承，使加拿大人骨子里就沉浸着艺术细胞。当我踏入卡萨罗马古堡时，精致蕾丝装点的扇面，颇显富贵华丽的象牙白裙装，繁复隆重的吊灯，都让人难以想象保存如此之好的这座古堡是1911年建成的，建筑里的婉转流年都在房间的家具和布局中得到完美的呈现。

The study tips of Canada

It took us a long time to go to Canada on the plane,and it has already passed 7 days, and I learnt a lot of things in different parts..

First of all, the Canadians I met are very polite, and they have many reasonable rules, for example, ladies first. And that makes the people who come to Canada feel more pleased., so I think, the Chinese can learn a little bit from this.

Second, I really like the education in Canada, we passed those days with Mr. N, Mrs. Tweydell, Mr. Thomson who are the professors in SUON INTERNATIONAL ACADAMY, and we have classes in the university of Toronto, and we definitively learn lots of knowledge about Canada, in mathematical, business, geography, history…… The classes make me feel very interested and relaxed. I think it’s very important to make students interested in the teachers. It will help students a lot to pay attention to teachers whose teaching skills are so very important. A good teaching method can help students to understand the knowledge more quickly, and accurate.

Take the Business class as an example, she wants us to know the team work is very important, she tells us that we have to build a tallest tower which is made of spaghetti. We have to think and design in our own ideas. It’s very easy to break a spaghetti, so we have to be very careful. During the process, we know the team power is much stronger than self-power. We have to work together .

Third, the environment in Canada is the best I have ever seen, so I think we have to think about why? Exactly, I think the most important reason is that the Canadian have good self-discipline. They won’t throw garbage on the road. They also classify the garbage in many different ways, so the recycling banks are everything. We must learn from this, too. Although the population in Canada is less than that of China, but it’s not a reason for us to destroy the environment. We just have one Earth, we have to protect it together, not only Canadians.

The last thing I want to mention is that, the Canadians are very helpful and thoughtful. In our team, once there is a student who lost a credit card in the university, we all think that he may not find his card. What a surprise! He gets it back with a student’s help and my classmate also shows the politeness of Chinese, it’s just a coincidence. But I still think honesty is the best policy for everyone.

If few people in this country are honest,, how could a country be? I’m very happy I learn a lot just like as I mentioned, This is a very good chance for us to learn more about the world, and I expect the trip in the rest days can also be colourful and amazing!
